29 - I’ve got what you need.

February 19, 2010

What he had to say really shocked me; I had no idea any of it was going on. I’m gonna start hanging out with him more (if he ever responds to texts, which he has a problem with…)

So, for the past 6 months or so, I’ve been using an unsecured internet connection that one of my neighbors had. It was all great until last night when suddenly it disappeared… it didn’t come back this morning, so I’m assuming that they either finally put a password on it or it was shut off. Either way, I’m internessless now, and since I’m moving in a month it feels like it would be a waste of money to get my own installed.

Allan told me to knock on someone’s door and ask if I could use theirs until I leave, but for some reason I feel really uncomfortable doing that. First of all, I hate talking to strangers. Second, I’d have to lie about why I need to use it if I’m going to make them trust me, and I don’t want to do that. I knew from the start that this was probably going to happen, so in reality it’s my fault and something I have to deal with on my own. If Allan wants to go ask someone to borrow their network key, he can go right ahead… but I don’t want to :(

Therefore, I am updating tonight from campus. So be grateful. <3

    You’re really growing as an artist (or you’re showing growth that was already there but I didn’t notice.) This entire strip is really well-done, your sense of “shot-composition” (I’m not sure if there’s a word for it in comics) is very strong… you just found the right visual tone for the emotional sense of your content. Well done.

    damn girly. i know that feeling. my one friend was completely in love w/ this girl in washington state (go figure) and she recently told him that this long disance (philladelphia PA) thing wouldn’t work out for some reasons, and he was crushed. i had lunch with him and after listening to him tlak about how much he thinks it was the right thing but he still won’t ever get over her for like, 45 min he sighs and says “so adam, how are you and victoria doing?”

    it was really awkward seeing how i’ve been dating this girl for 2 years and david just lost the girl he was devoted to and in love with.

    Beautiful comic. I love how it seems kinda… photojournalistic. If, you know, it were made of photos instead of drawn. ^_^;

    Maybe it’s because I’m not in a serious mood, but it seemed really corny.
