I’ve only ever played Tree of Tranquility and Back to Nature (Playstation and Gameboy), but as far as I’ve seen those are the only good ones. Oh, and I’ve played Harvest Moon Cute which was the worst thing ever.

Allan was nice enough to collab with me on this after I complained about not being able to think of anything for those panels. He’s so much more imaginative than I am.

I’ve been meaner than just making fun of Tenebre. I just couldn’t resist using that ;D

I’ve been working on the weekends, playing Rivalry once a week, and looking for jobs all other times, which is why I haven’t been updating. BUT I got another interview on Wednesday, so maybe I’ll get the job and I can stop using all my freetime to look for more!

I also might start a doodle comic about Rivalry, so I’ll be sure to link it if I do.

Anyway.

I’m hungry.

I can’t believe it’s been a month since I’ve last updated. I am so, so sorry. This should clear things up for you, though.

For those of you who don’t read Allan (all, like… two of you), or at least don’t read his author’s notes, he mentioned that we’ve been looking for his job, which affected his motivation to do anything. I’m in the same boat. Every application I turn in is just another phone call I’m not going to get, yet all I’ve wanted to do for the past month is apply for jobs with the hope that ONE will call me back. It’s heartbreaking, really, because I desperately want to move out of his parents’ house and into our own apartment. Thus, a part-time gig isn’t going to do it for me.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful that I found a job. It’s at Maggie Moo’s, one of which my mom owned for a short period (she has a more successful Marble Slab) and that I managed for a few months, so I already know how to do everything. I’ve been keeping in touch with the owner of this store for a few months now, and finally I called her back after leaving her a note and not getting a response. She told me to come in for an interview the next day, and I got the job! Wooo! There’s a Starbucks down the street that is apparently hiring, and a few other places around that I’m going to check out on Monday, so hopefully I can get a job in the same area… which would be ideal because Maggie Moo’s is about an hour away from where we currently stay… ugh. I need to know where I’ll be working more often so we can move closer and etc etc.

Anyway, sorry again for the lateness. I’d say I’m going to try to update more, but unfortunately I’m still pretty stressed out so I can’t promise anything. I have an idea for the next comic, though, so I guess that’s a start?

Oh, and that is Dave, the artist/author of And Id. It was actually his last comic that made me really realize how much having our own apartment would help me get over whatever I’m going through.

This is my friend David. He lives in Seattle and we went to WSU together and now we just talk online all the time. He’s hilarious, but sometimes he says things like this and I have no idea what the fuck he means.

I’m sorry for making you wait over a week then posting this shit, but Photoshop decided to fuck up all my plans.

Allan asked me to draw a logo for Rivalry, and I got really into it… it wasn’t much, but (because my pen tool skills were rusty) it took me about two hours to do. I was SO proud of it when I was done, and as soon as I started applying the final gradient overlay… this happened.

Even though it was just a little logo, it felt like someone had punched me in the gut then told me my dog died. Luckily, Allan leaned over and took a screenshot before I closed it in frustration, so now he’s tracing it himself… because, obviously, all my artistic motivation was ripped out of me.

Anyway, I was going to draw a comic after I finished that, but because of the reason I stated above, this is what happened.

I dated this one for yesterday just in case I draw another one for tonight. Photoshop is open and ready for me! Just need to figure out what to draw.

A couple people have emailed me and asked for commissions, and though I’ve only started one, it’s going really well. He’s getting a lot for his money; I planned on only spending two or three hours on it
